The result of USD 4,000.00 (€ 2,942.47) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of USD 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by George Inness, Jr. - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Sol's Glory, which sold at auction in September 2005 for USD 7,200.00 (€ 5,971.14).
