Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Through The Woods by George Henry was auctioned at Sothebys in London in August 2007. It achieved a price of GBP 5,760.00 (€ 8,514.80), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 15%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by George Henry achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Playmates in May 2008 with an auction result of GBP 401,300.00 (€ 510,471.14).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Through The Woods von George Henry kam im August 2007 bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 5.760,00 (€ 8.514,80) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 15%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von George Henry erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Playmates im Mai 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 401.300,00 (€ 510.471,14).
