In the Christie's Interiors auction, the work Andromeda; and The spirit of the marsh (illustrated) sold for GBP 1,375.00 (€ 1,552.82) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 700.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by George Henry Edwards II - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Enid, which sold at auction in June 2008 for GBP 4,000.00 (€ 5,056.13).

Für andere Arbeiten von George Henry Edwards II mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Enid beobachtet, die im Juni 2008 für GBP 4.000,00 (€ 5.056,13) versteigert wurde.
