The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 400.00 – 600.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 420.00 (€ 622.63) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Leaving the party by boat is the most expensive artwork by George Haydock Dodgson that we have observed at auctions so far.
