Auction result well in line with expectations
In October 2008 Christies in London held the auction 20th Century British Art, which included the work Standing Studies by George Fullard. It changed hands for a price of GBP 1,375.00 (€ 1,752.63) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 1,000.00 – 1,500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by George Fullard achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Glancing Woman in July 2010 with an auction result of GBP 18,125.00 (€ 21,793.27).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Oktober 2008 führte Christies in London die Auktion 20th Century British Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Standing Studies von George Fullard zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 1.375,00 (€ 1.752,63) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 1.000,00 – 1.500,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von George Fullard erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Glancing Woman im Juli 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 18.125,00 (€ 21.793,27).
