Fleischmann, Nuremberg, all with margins, all with pale light- staining and surface soiling to varying degrees, small areas of moisture damage and scattered foxing mostly within the margins on several plates, Plate C.2 with an area of restoration in the lower margin at center, Plate W.10 with areas of heavy staining in the lower half of the image, otherwise all apparently in good condition, in mahogany-colored decorative moulded frames and French mats with wash lines, not examined out of the frames

In September 2002 Christies in New York held the auction THE HOUSE SALE, which included the work Thesaurus Rei Herbariae Hortensisque Universalis: Eight Plates by Georg Wolfgang Knorr. The »bidding war« ended at USD 4,182.50 (€ 4,233.73), 39% above the upper estimate. With this result, Thesaurus Rei Herbariae Hortensisque Universalis: Eight Plates is even the most expensive work of art by Georg Wolfgang Knorr that we have observed at auctions so far.

Im September 2002 führte Christies in New York die Auktion THE HOUSE SALE durch, in der auch die Arbeit Thesaurus Rei Herbariae Hortensisque Universalis: Eight Plates von Georg Wolfgang Knorr zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 4.182,50 (€ 4.233,73) und damit 39% über dem oberen Schätzpreis.
