In June 2002 Christies in New York held the auction The House Sale, which included the work Thesaurus Re Herbariae Hortensisque Universalis: Eight Plates by Georg Wolfgang Knorr. The price achieved of USD 2,629.00 (€ 2,667.41) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Other works by Georg Wolfgang Knorr have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in September 2002 the work Thesaurus Rei Herbariae Hortensisque Universalis: Eight Plates was auctioned for USD 4,182.50 (€ 4,233.73).

Im Juni 2002 führte Christies in New York die Auktion The House Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Thesaurus Re Herbariae Hortensisque Universalis: Eight Plates von Georg Wolfgang Knorr zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 2.629,00 (€ 2.667,41) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 2.000,00 – 3.000,00 angegeben worden.
