Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Geer van Velde achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Composition in October 2018 with an auction result of EUR 343,500.00.

Die Arbeit Composition - Circa 1957 von Geer van Velde kam im März letzten Jahres bei Artcurial in Paris zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von EUR 6.560,00 und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 31 %. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Geer van Velde erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Composition im Oktober 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 343.500,00.
