Sold at the upper estimate price
In June 2014 Il Ponte held the auction Modern and Contemporary Art, which included the work Contrappunto by Gastone Biggi. The auction ended at the price of EUR 7,500.00, which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of EUR 6,700.00 – 7,500.00. Other works by Gastone Biggi have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in May 2013 the work Spazio temporaneo was auctioned for EUR 9,000.00.
Zuschlag beim oberen Schätzpreis
Im Juni 2014 führte Il Ponte die Auktion Modern and Contemporary Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Contrappunto von Gastone Biggi zur Versteigerung kam. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von EUR 7.500,00 entsprach exakt dem oberen Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 6.700,00 – 7.500,00. Andere Arbeiten von Gastone Biggi konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Mai 2013 die Arbeit Spazio temporaneo für EUR 9.000,00 versteigert.
