Auction result well in line with expectations
In October 2013 Christies in Paris held the auction Rendez-Vous - Intérieurs Contemporains, which included the work Panneau 'Aux Oiseaux', Vers 1930 by Gaston Suisse. The price achieved of EUR 6,250.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Gaston Suisse achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Table Basse, Pièce Unique, Vers 1930 in November 2010 with an auction result of EUR 102,750.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Oktober 2013 führte Christies in Paris die Auktion Rendez-Vous - Intérieurs Contemporains durch, in der auch die Arbeit Panneau 'Aux Oiseaux', Vers 1930 von Gaston Suisse zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 6.250,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 5.000,00 – 7.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Gaston Suisse erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Table Basse, Pièce Unique, Vers 1930 im November 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 102.750,00.
