Auction result misses estimated price range
In June 2007 a collector was able to acquire the work Baigneuses by Gaston Bussière for EUR 3,600.00. This price was achieved in the auction Old Master and 19th Century Drawings and Paintings at Sothebys in Paris and was even below the estimate range of EUR 4,000.00 – 6,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Gaston Bussière achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work La Révélation, Brünnhilde Découvrant Sieglinde Et Siegmund in June 2008 with an auction result of EUR 46,350.00.

Im Juni 2007 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Baigneuses von Gaston Bussière für EUR 3.600,00 erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Old Master and 19th Century Drawings and Paintings bei Sothebys in Paris erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 4.000,00 – 6.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Gaston Bussière erzielen.
