Auction result well in line with expectations
In January this year Christies in New York held the auction Old Masters, which included the work Two servants in their master's clothing by Gaspare Traversi. The price achieved of USD 45,360.00 (€ 41,775.65) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 40,000.00 – 60,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Gaspare Traversi achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work La Rixe De Jeu in June 2010 with an auction result of EUR 1,083,950.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Januar diesen Jahres führte Christies in New York die Auktion Old Masters durch, in der auch die Arbeit Two servants in their master's clothing von Gaspare Traversi zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 45.360,00 (€ 41.775,65) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 40.000,00 – 60.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Gaspare Traversi erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit La Rixe De Jeu im Juni 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 1.083.950,00.
