In July 2019 Sothebys in London held the auction Old Masters Day Sale, which included the work Saint Joseph With The Christ Child by Gaspare Traversi. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 62,500.00 (€ 68,620.84), 25% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Gaspare Traversi achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work La Rixe De Jeu in June 2010 with an auction result of EUR 1,083,950.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um 25 % übertroffen
Im Juli 2019 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Old Masters Day Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Saint Joseph With The Christ Child von Gaspare Traversi zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 62.500,00 (€ 68.620,84) und damit 25% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Gaspare Traversi erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit La Rixe De Jeu im Juni 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 1.083.950,00.
