Auction result well in line with expectations
In April 2002 Christies in London held the auction Old Master Pictures, which included the work Tulips, a crown imperial lily, morning glory, roses, a peony and other flowers in a sculpted urn on a stone ledge by Gaspar Peeter Verbruggen the Younger. The price achieved of GBP 17,925.00 (€ 29,002.18) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 15,000.00 – 20,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Gaspar Peeter Verbruggen the Younger - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Tulips, roses, carnations, lilies, chrysanthemums and other flowers in an urn on a stone ledge, a bough of oranges, pears, grapes, cherries, nectarines and plums above, which sold at auction in December 2001 for GBP 52,875.00 (€ 86,390.42).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im April 2002 führte Christies in London die Auktion Old Master Pictures durch, in der auch die Arbeit Tulips, a crown imperial lily, morning glory, roses, a peony and other flowers in a sculpted urn on a stone ledge von Gaspar Peeter Verbruggen the Younger zur Versteigerung kam.
