Admittedly, works by Gaspar Peeter Verbruggen the Younger have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Tulips, roses, carnations, lilies, chrysanthemums and other flowers in an urn on a stone ledge, a bough of oranges, pears, grapes, cherries, nectarines and plums above in December 2001 with an auction result of GBP 52,875.00 (€ 86,390.42).
