Auction result well in line with expectations
The work A Teapot And Cover by Gao Zhenyu was auctioned at Christies in Shanghai in September 2019. The price achieved of CNY 96,000.00 (€ 12,315.82) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as CNY 80,000.00 – 120,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Gao Zhenyu - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work A 'Warring States' Embossed Yixing Clay Teapot, which sold at auction in September 2017 for CNY 264,000.00 (€ 33,589.44).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit A Teapot And Cover von Gao Zhenyu kam im September 2019 bei Christies in Shanghai zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von CNY 96.000,00 (€ 12.315,82) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit CNY 80.000,00 – 120.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Gao Zhenyu mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit A 'Warring States' Embossed Yixing Clay Teapot beobachtet, die im September 2017 für CNY 264.000,00 (€ 33.589,44) versteigert wurde.
