Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Tra I Monti by Gaetano Previati was auctioned at Christies in Rome in June 2005. The price achieved of EUR 5,456.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Gaetano Previati - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Italian meadow, which sold at auction in November 2012 for GBP 16,250.00 (€ 20,018.35).

Die Arbeit Tra I Monti von Gaetano Previati kam im Juni 2005 bei Christies in Rom zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 5.456,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 4.000,00 – 6.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Gaetano Previati mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Italian meadow beobachtet, die im November 2012 für GBP 16.250,00 (€ 20.018,35) versteigert wurde.
