Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Gaetano Previati could be acquired at Il Ponte in December last year for an unexpectedly low price. In the 19th and 20th century Paintings and Sculptures auction, the work Figura femminile changed hands for EUR 700.00 - missing the lower end of the estimate range of EUR 800.00 – 900.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Gaetano Previati achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Italian meadow in November 2012 with an auction result of GBP 16,250.00 (€ 20,018.35).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Gaetano Previati konnte im Dezember letzten Jahres bei Il Ponte für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion 19th and 20th century Paintings and Sculptures wechselte die Arbeit Figura femminile für EUR 700,00 den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 800,00 – 900,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Gaetano Previati erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Italian meadow im November 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 16.250,00 (€ 20.018,35).
