Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Le Ombre by Gaetano Previati was sold in the Dipinti e Sculture del XIX e XX Secolo auction at Il Ponte in October 2014. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 1,600.00 23% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Gaetano Previati achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Italian meadow in November 2012 with an auction result of GBP 16,250.00 (€ 20,018.35).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Le Ombre von Gaetano Previati wurde im Oktober 2014 in der Auktion Dipinti e Sculture del XIX e XX Secolo bei Il Ponte versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 1.600,00 und damit 23% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Gaetano Previati erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Italian meadow im November 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 16.250,00 (€ 20.018,35).
