Auction result well in line with expectations
In June 2001 Christies in Rome held the auction ARTE DEL XIX SECOLO, which included the work A Passeggio by Gaetano Previati. The price achieved of EUR 9,800.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Gaetano Previati - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Italian meadow, which sold at auction in November 2012 for GBP 16,250.00 (€ 20,018.35).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juni 2001 führte Christies in Rom die Auktion ARTE DEL XIX SECOLO durch, in der auch die Arbeit A Passeggio von Gaetano Previati zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 9.800,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 8.000,00 – 12.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Gaetano Previati mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Italian meadow beobachtet, die im November 2012 für GBP 16.250,00 (€ 20.018,35) versteigert wurde.
