Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Arabs On The Rooftops Of Tangier, The Strait Of Gibraltar Beyond; And Arabs Selling Goods At The Walls Of Tangier by Gabriele Carelli was auctioned at Christies in London in January 2013. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 1,500.00 – 2,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 1,625.00 (€ 1,896.79) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Gabriele Carelli have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Four Italian landscapes in September 2014 with an auction result of GBP 6,250.00 (€ 8,027.80).

Die Arbeit Arabs On The Rooftops Of Tangier, The Strait Of Gibraltar Beyond; And Arabs Selling Goods At The Walls Of Tangier von Gabriele Carelli kam im Januar 2013 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 1.500,00 – 2.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 1.625,00 (€ 1.896,79) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen.
