This artwork by Gabriele Basilico achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in London in October 2010. In the The Italian Sale auction, the work Contact sold for GBP 91,250.00 (€ 105,212.68) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 40,000.00. This high result makes Contact the most expensive artwork by Gabriele Basilico that we have observed at auctions so far.
