The work Poliptico (Poliptych) by Gabriel Kuri was auctioned at Phillips in New York in October 2009. The auction ended at the price of USD 4,000.00 (€ 2,710.95), which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of USD 3,000.00 – 4,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Gabriel Kuri achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Adult Diaper in May 2013 with an auction result of USD 47,500.00 (€ 36,572.22).
Zuschlag beim oberen Schätzpreis
Die Arbeit Poliptico (Poliptych) von Gabriel Kuri kam im Oktober 2009 bei Phillips in New York zur Auktion. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von USD 4.000,00 (€ 2.710,95) entsprach exakt dem oberen Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 3.000,00 – 4.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Gabriel Kuri erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Adult Diaper im Mai 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 47.500,00 (€ 36.572,22).
