This artwork by Gabriel-Jacques de Saint-Aubin achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in London in December 2014. In the Old Master and British Drawings and Watercolours auction, the work Figures By A Farm sold for GBP 3,000.00 (€ 3,861.99) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 1,500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Gabriel-Jacques de Saint-Aubin achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work L'Incendie De L'Hôtel-Dieu En 1772 in March 2016 with an auction result of EUR 373,500.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um 100 % übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Gabriel-Jacques de Saint-Aubin erzielte im Dezember 2014 bei Christies in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Old Master and British Drawings and Watercolours wurde die Arbeit Figures By A Farm für GBP 3.000,00 (€ 3.861,99) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 1.500,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Gabriel-Jacques de Saint-Aubin erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit L'Incendie De L'Hôtel-Dieu En 1772 im März 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 373.500,00.
