In March 2009 Christies in London held the auction Christie's Interiors, which included the work Rue Carriera, Elvas by G.F. Sargent. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 875.00 (€ 943.56), 46% above the upper estimate. Other works by G.F. Sargent have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of GBP 1,250.00 (€ 1,347.94) in March 2009 for the work The Convent of St Domingo.

Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 875,00 (€ 943,56) und damit 46% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Andere Arbeiten von G.F. Sargent haben noch höhere Preise erzielt - wir haben das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis von GBP 1.250,00 (€ 1.347,94) im März 2009 für die Arbeit The Convent of St Domingo beobachtet.
