Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Gustaf Adolf Clémens could be acquired at Bruun Rasmussen in October this year for an unexpectedly low price. In the Paintings, furniture and varia auction, the work Sunlight over the dunes at Tannishus near Tversted, North Jutland changed hands for DKK 2,200.00 (€ 294.78) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of DKK 3,000.00 – 4,000.00. Admittedly, works by Gustaf Adolf Clémens have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Midsummer on the beaches of Skagen (Saint Hans) in June last year with an auction result of SEK 25,000.00 (€ 2,309.20).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Gustaf Adolf Clémens konnte im Oktober diesen Jahres bei Bruun Rasmussen für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Paintings, furniture and varia wechselte die Arbeit Sunlight over the dunes at Tannishus near Tversted, North Jutland für DKK 2.200,00 (€ 294,78) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von DKK 3.000,00 – 4.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Gustaf Adolf Clémens auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Midsummer on the beaches of Skagen (Saint Hans) im Juni letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von SEK 25.000,00 (€ 2.309,20).
