Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Gustaf Adolf Clémens could be acquired at Bruun Rasmussen in July this year for an unexpectedly low price. In the Paintings, furniture and varia auction, the work A view of the coast towards a calm ocean changed hands for DKK 1,500.00 (€ 201.18) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of DKK 3,000.00 – 4,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Gustaf Adolf Clémens achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Midsummer on the beaches of Skagen (Saint Hans) in June last year with an auction result of SEK 25,000.00 (€ 2,309.20).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Gustaf Adolf Clémens konnte im Juli diesen Jahres bei Bruun Rasmussen für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Paintings, furniture and varia wechselte die Arbeit A view of the coast towards a calm ocean für DKK 1.500,00 (€ 201,18) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von DKK 3.000,00 – 4.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Gustaf Adolf Clémens erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Midsummer on the beaches of Skagen (Saint Hans) im Juni letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von SEK 25.000,00 (€ 2.309,20).
