Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Eleventh Hour - 2011 by Futura 2000 was auctioned at Artcurial in Paris in October last year. The price achieved of EUR 41,984.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 30,000.00 – 50,000.00. Admittedly, works by Futura 2000 have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work without title in November last year with an auction result of USD 302,400.00 (€ 292,938.10).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Eleventh Hour - 2011 von Futura 2000 kam im Oktober letzten Jahres bei Artcurial in Paris zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 41.984,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 30.000,00 – 50.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Futura 2000 auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit ohne Titel im November letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 302.400,00 (€ 292.938,10).
