Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Tea Gathering & Symbiosis 6 (Spider) by Fuco Ueda was sold in the Asian Contemporary Sale (Day Sale) auction at Christies in Hong Kong in December 2008. The price achieved of HKD 50,000.00 (€ 4,633.95) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 40,000.00 – 60,000.00. Admittedly, works by Fuco Ueda have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Secret Honey I & II; Garden of Idea in November 2007 with an auction result of HKD 319,500.00 (€ 27,930.15).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Tea Gathering & Symbiosis 6 (Spider) von Fuco Ueda wurde im Dezember 2008 in der Auktion Asian Contemporary Sale (Day Sale) bei Christies in Hong Kong versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 50.000,00 (€ 4.633,95) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 40.000,00 – 60.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Fuco Ueda auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Secret Honey I & II; Garden of Idea im November 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 319.500,00 (€ 27.930,15).
