Auction result well in line with expectations
In June last year Bonhams in Hong Kong held the auction Fine Chinese Paintings, which included the work Calligraphy in Regular Script by Fu Zengxiang. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of HKD 20,000.00 – 40,000.00, the actual price achieved of HKD 22,950.00 (€ 2,792.85) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Fu Zengxiang achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Calligraphy Couplet In Kaishu in July 2020 with an auction result of HKD 312,500.00 (€ 34,238.58).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juni letzten Jahres führte Bonhams in Hong Kong die Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings durch, in der auch die Arbeit Calligraphy in Regular Script von Fu Zengxiang zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von HKD 20.000,00 – 40.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von HKD 22.950,00 (€ 2.792,85) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Fu Zengxiang erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Calligraphy Couplet In Kaishu im Juli 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 312.500,00 (€ 34.238,58).
