The work Calligraphy Couplet In Kaishu by Fu Zengxiang was sold in the Fine Chinese Paintings auction at Sothebys in Hong Kong in April 2014. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 81,250.00 (€ 7,556.78), 35% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Fu Zengxiang have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Calligraphy Couplet In Kaishu in July 2020 with an auction result of HKD 312,500.00 (€ 34,238.58).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 35 % übertroffen
Die Arbeit Calligraphy Couplet In Kaishu von Fu Zengxiang wurde im April 2014 in der Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings bei Sothebys in Hong Kong versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 81.250,00 (€ 7.556,78) und damit 35% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Fu Zengxiang auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Calligraphy Couplet In Kaishu im Juli 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 312.500,00 (€ 34.238,58).
