Auction result misses estimated price range
In October this year a collector was able to acquire the work Untitled, 2006 by Frodo Mikkelsen for DKK 2,000.00 (€ 267.98). This price was achieved in the auction Modern art and design at Bruun Rasmussen and was even below the estimate range of DKK 4,000.00 – 5,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Frodo Mikkelsen achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work “Som om han ikke havde problemer nok, han skulle også høre for sine nye lange underdrenge ..”. in January 2024 with an auction result of DKK 10,000.00 (€ 8,739.73).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Oktober diesen Jahres konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Untitled, 2006 von Frodo Mikkelsen für DKK 2.000,00 (€ 267,98) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Modern art and design bei Bruun Rasmussen erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von DKK 4.000,00 – 5.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Frodo Mikkelsen erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit “Som om han ikke havde problemer nok, han skulle også høre for sine nye lange underdrenge ..”. im Januar 2024 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von DKK 10.000,00 (€ 8.739,73).
