Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Fritz White could be acquired at Bonhams in February this year for an unexpectedly low price. In the Coast to Coast | Live OnlineAmerican Art, including The Collection of Gail Feingarten Oppenheimer auction, the work The Corn Planter from the Pueblo Collection series changed hands for USD 510.00 (€ 481.04) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 800.00 – 1,200.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Fritz White achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Out of the Mystic Past in February 2019 with an auction result of USD 12,500.00 (€ 10,985.15).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Fritz White konnte im Februar diesen Jahres bei Bonhams für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Coast to Coast | Live OnlineAmerican Art, including The Collection of Gail Feingarten Oppenheimer wechselte die Arbeit The Corn Planter from the Pueblo Collection series für USD 510,00 (€ 481,04) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 800,00 – 1.200,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Fritz White erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Out of the Mystic Past im Februar 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 12.500,00 (€ 10.985,15).
