A top price for Fritz Paulsen - as previously expected
The work German a Promenade by Fritz Paulsen was sold in the Art Treasures of America: The John F. Eulich Collection auction at Sothebys in New York in November 2017. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 25,000.00 – 35,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 27,500.00 (€ 23,113.13) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Even if this result could not surprise positively, German a Promenade is the most expensive artwork by Fritz Paulsen that we have observed at auctions so far.
Ein Spitzenpreis mit Ansage
Die Arbeit German a Promenade von Fritz Paulsen wurde im November 2017 in der Auktion Art Treasures of America: The John F. Eulich Collection bei Sothebys in New York versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von USD 25.000,00 – 35.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von USD 27.500,00 (€ 23.113,13) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen.
