The work Eavesdropping by Fritz Paulsen was sold in the Pictures,Watercolours and Drawings auction at Christies in Amsterdam in January 2007. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 3,120.00 56% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Fritz Paulsen have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work German a Promenade in November 2017 with an auction result of USD 27,500.00 (€ 23,113.13).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 56 % übertroffen
Die Arbeit Eavesdropping von Fritz Paulsen wurde im Januar 2007 in der Auktion Pictures,Watercolours and Drawings bei Christies in Amsterdam versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 3.120,00 und damit 56% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Fritz Paulsen auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit German a Promenade im November 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 27.500,00 (€ 23.113,13).
