Auction result well in line with expectations
In April 2004 Christies in London held the auction British and Continental Pictures, which included the work Barges On The River by Frits Goosen. The price achieved of GBP 418.25 (€ 375.77) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 300.00 – 500.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Frits Goosen - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work View Of Enkhuizen, which sold at auction in March 2007 for EUR 1,080.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im April 2004 führte Christies in London die Auktion British and Continental Pictures durch, in der auch die Arbeit Barges On The River von Frits Goosen zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 418,25 (€ 375,77) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 300,00 – 500,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Frits Goosen mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit View Of Enkhuizen beobachtet, die im März 2007 für EUR 1.080,00 versteigert wurde.
