Auction result well in line with expectations
In April 2015 Christies in New York held the auction 19th Century European Art, which included the work Spring Flowers by Frederick Morgan. The price achieved of USD 31,250.00 (€ 27,996.77) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 25,000.00 – 35,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Frederick Morgan achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work May I ? in May 2000 with an auction result of USD 974,000.00 (€ 1,044,168.10).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im April 2015 führte Christies in New York die Auktion 19th Century European Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Spring Flowers von Frederick Morgan zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 31.250,00 (€ 27.996,77) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 25.000,00 – 35.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Frederick Morgan erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit May I ? im Mai 2000 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 974.000,00 (€ 1.044.168,10).
