Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Bedouin women getting water for the camp on a misty morning in the Nile Valley; and Figures with camels resting beside a river by Frederick Goodall was auctioned at Christies in London in September 2007. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 6,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 6,250.00 (€ 8,962.04). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Frederick Goodall achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Trespassers in December 2006 with an auction result of GBP 198,400.00 (€ 294,450.44).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Bedouin women getting water for the camp on a misty morning in the Nile Valley; and Figures with camels resting beside a river von Frederick Goodall kam im September 2007 bei Christies in London zur Auktion.
