Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Sailing boats in port; Painting by the rocks; Sunbathers by beach huts; Relaxing in deckchairs by the river; and A cityscape by Friedrich Feigl was sold in the 20th Century British Art auction at Christies in London in December 2004. The price achieved of GBP 501.90 (€ 710.33) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 400.00 – 600.00. Admittedly, works by Friedrich Feigl have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Im Berliner Zoo in December last year with an auction result of EUR 5,796.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Sailing boats in port; Painting by the rocks; Sunbathers by beach huts; Relaxing in deckchairs by the river; and A cityscape von Friedrich Feigl wurde im Dezember 2004 in der Auktion 20th Century British Art bei Christies in London versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 501,90 (€ 710,33) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 400,00 – 600,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Friedrich Feigl auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Im Berliner Zoo im Dezember letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 5.796,00.
