It achieved a price of CAD 9,000.00 (€ 6,903.59), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 50%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Frederick Arthur Verner - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Going To Market, Muskoka, which sold at auction in November 2012 for CAD 27,000.00 (€ 20,896.46).
