Auction result misses estimated price range
In March last year a collector was able to acquire the work Romeo, an Arabian Stallion in a Landscape by Frederick Arthur Bridgman for GBP 18,900.00 (€ 22,408.08). This price was achieved in the auction The Orientalist Sale at Sothebys in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 20,000.00 – 30,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Frederick Arthur Bridgman achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work La Cérémonie Des Aïssaoui À Blida En Algérie in June 2013 with an auction result of EUR 901,500.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im März letzten Jahres konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Romeo, an Arabian Stallion in a Landscape von Frederick Arthur Bridgman für GBP 18.900,00 (€ 22.408,08) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion The Orientalist Sale bei Sothebys in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 20.000,00 – 30.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Frederick Arthur Bridgman erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit La Cérémonie Des Aïssaoui À Blida En Algérie im Juni 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 901.500,00.
