This artwork by Frederick Arthur Bridgman achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in London in October 2021. In the The Orientalist Sale auction, the work Prayer in the Mosque, Cairo sold for GBP 352,800.00 (€ 417,972.71) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 200,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Frederick Arthur Bridgman - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work La Cérémonie Des Aïssaoui À Blida En Algérie, which sold at auction in June 2013 for EUR 901,500.00.

In der Auktion The Orientalist Sale wurde die Arbeit Prayer in the Mosque, Cairo für GBP 352.800,00 (€ 417.972,71) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 200.000,00.
