Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In October 2021 Sothebys in London held the auction The Orientalist Sale, which included the work A Veiled Beauty by Frederick Arthur Bridgman. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 17,640.00 (€ 20,898.64), 18% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Frederick Arthur Bridgman achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work La Cérémonie Des Aïssaoui À Blida En Algérie in June 2013 with an auction result of EUR 901,500.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Oktober 2021 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion The Orientalist Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit A Veiled Beauty von Frederick Arthur Bridgman zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 17.640,00 (€ 20.898,64) und damit 18% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Frederick Arthur Bridgman erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit La Cérémonie Des Aïssaoui À Blida En Algérie im Juni 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 901.500,00.
