Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work The Rose by Frédéric Soulacroix was sold in the Old Master & 19th Century European Art auction at Sothebys in New York in January 2015. Here, the upper estimate of USD 50,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 53,125.00 (€ 47,054.92). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Frédéric Soulacroix - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work French Afternoon Tea, which sold at auction in November 2014 for USD 221,000.00 (€ 177,681.30).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit The Rose von Frédéric Soulacroix wurde im Januar 2015 in der Auktion Old Master & 19th Century European Art bei Sothebys in New York versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 50.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 53.125,00 (€ 47.054,92) einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Frédéric Soulacroix mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit French Afternoon Tea beobachtet, die im November 2014 für USD 221.000,00 (€ 177.681,30) versteigert wurde.
