Auction result misses estimated price range
In May 2016 a collector was able to acquire the work A soldier with his dog by Frédéric Soulacroix for EUR 2,500.00. This price was achieved in the auction Old Masters & 19th Century Art - (including Dutch Impressionism) at Christies in Amsterdam and was even below the estimate range of EUR 3,000.00 – 5,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Frédéric Soulacroix achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work French Afternoon Tea in November 2014 with an auction result of USD 221,000.00 (€ 177,681.30).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Mai 2016 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit A soldier with his dog von Frédéric Soulacroix für EUR 2.500,00 erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Old Masters & 19th Century Art - (including Dutch Impressionism) bei Christies in Amsterdam erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 3.000,00 – 5.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Frédéric Soulacroix erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit French Afternoon Tea im November 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 221.000,00 (€ 177.681,30).
