Auction result well in line with expectations
In June 2010 Christies in London held the auction Centuries of Style: Silver, European Ceramics, Portrait Miniatures and Gold Boxes, which included the work Unknown by Frédéric Millet. The price achieved of GBP 1,250.00 (€ 1,520.12) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 1,000.00 – 1,500.00. Admittedly, works by Frédéric Millet have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Unknown in June 2010 with an auction result of GBP 6,000.00 (€ 7,296.56).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juni 2010 führte Christies in London die Auktion Centuries of Style: Silver, European Ceramics, Portrait Miniatures and Gold Boxes durch, in der auch die Arbeit Unknown von Frédéric Millet zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 1.250,00 (€ 1.520,12) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 1.000,00 – 1.500,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Frédéric Millet auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Unknown im Juni 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 6.000,00 (€ 7.296,56).
