Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Sans Titre, 1954 by Frédéric Benrath was sold in the Contemporary Art auction at Artcurial in Paris in July 2010. It changed hands for a price of EUR 574.00 achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of EUR 400.00 – 600.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Frédéric Benrath achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Mes Archipels, 1991 in July 2010 with an auction result of EUR 7,395.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Sans Titre, 1954 von Frédéric Benrath wurde im Juli 2010 in der Auktion Contemporary Art bei Artcurial in Paris versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von EUR 574,00 den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 400,00 – 600,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Frédéric Benrath erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Mes Archipels, 1991 im Juli 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 7.395,00.
