Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Freda Marston could be acquired at Christies in London in August 2008 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Christie's Interiors auction, the work Wildflowers in a vase changed hands for GBP 375.00 (€ 465.01) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 500.00 – 800.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Freda Marston - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Summer Flowers In A Glass Vase On A Table, which sold at auction in March 2005 for GBP 1,020.00 (€ 1,485.52).
