Auction result well in line with expectations
In May 2008 Sothebys in Zurich held the auction Swiss Art, which included the work Sommerlandschaft, 1931 Summer Landscape, 1931 by Fred Stauffer. The price achieved of CHF 6,875.00 (€ 4,237.67) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as CHF 6,000.00 – 8,000.00. Other works by Fred Stauffer have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in June 2009 the work Tessiner Landschaft Landscape In Ticino was auctioned for CHF 10,000.00 (€ 6,563.48).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Mai 2008 führte Sothebys in Zürich die Auktion Swiss Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Sommerlandschaft, 1931 Summer Landscape, 1931 von Fred Stauffer zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von CHF 6.875,00 (€ 4.237,67) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit CHF 6.000,00 – 8.000,00 angegeben worden. Andere Arbeiten von Fred Stauffer konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Juni 2009 die Arbeit Tessiner Landschaft Landscape In Ticino für CHF 10.000,00 (€ 6.563,48) versteigert.
