This artwork by Fred Deux achieved an unexpectedly high price at Artcurial in Paris in March 2021. In the Contemporary Art auction, the work Sans Titre - 1971 sold for EUR 4,550.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 2,500.00. Admittedly, works by Fred Deux have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Sans Titre - 1964 in March 2020 with an auction result of EUR 23,400.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um 82 % übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Fred Deux erzielte im März 2021 bei Artcurial in Paris einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Contemporary Art wurde die Arbeit Sans Titre - 1971 für EUR 4.550,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 2.500,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Fred Deux auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Sans Titre - 1964 im März 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 23.400,00.
